Policies The Policies for commissioning work from FINISHWORKS.com. We at FINISHWORKS.com consider it our pleasure to extend every courtesy we can to our clients. Listed below are the courtesies we require to commission work. 1. NO WORK is scheduled without a signed contract AND a retainer. The amount of the retainer will be determined by FINISHWORKS.com. This is determined according to the cost, duration, and type of job required. The balance is due the day of completion of the work. 2. Upon the receipt of the signed contract and the retainer, FINISHWORKS.com will schedule your work. The work is placed on the “waiting list” according to the date that we receive the signed contract and retainer. If it is interior work, the schedule may be pushed up in cases of inclement weather. We will give you as much notice as possible regarding any changes in the scheduling. 3. Bank Checks are the preferable method of payment. Please make all checks payable to JOHN WHEET. 4. If there are to be any additional materials or time needed to complete a project, please remember that ESTIMATES are just that…ESTIMATES. Any additional work is billed at $50/hr. That is the standard rate at FINISHWORKS.com. Any additional materials required will be billed separately to the client. Specialty work is billed at higher rates. 5. The FIRST TIME we visit your project to give you an “initial estimate”, there is no charge. Initial estimates are a courtesy. If there are the be “repeat visits” (as with an extended project), the time is billed at $50/hr. We truly appreciate your attention to these policies. Thank you…Evon Wheet. FINISHWORKS.com
